As reported by The Edge Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Friday (12.05.2023) allowed an injunction application filed by Syarikat Ong Yoke Lin Sdn. Bhd., a subcontractor of the 8 Conlay project, to restrain Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn. Bhd. from calling on a bank guarantee pending the full and final determination of arbitration proceedings between parties at the AIAC.
The application was filed pursuant to Section 11 of the Arbitration Act 2005 which empowers a High Court to grant interim measures before or during arbitration proceedings.
