Before embracing the legal profession, Benjamin traveled to the UK at a young age to obtain his pre-university qualification at Concord College, Shrewsbury and subsequently pursued a law degree at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He then furthered his studies by obtaining a Master of Laws in international financial law at King's College London where he was awarded the Dickson Poon School of Law Prize for the highest dissertation mark on the LLM before being admitted as a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn.
Upon his return home, Benjamin read in the chambers of Messrs Shook Lin & Bok and ever since then his practice has covered the areas of Banking & Finance, Corporate & Commercial, Information Technology and Real Estate & Conveyancing.
Benjamin is a corporate generalist and has advised on the laws and rules involved in the forming, owning, operating and managing of corporations. He is also has experience in dealing with a wide range of real estate transactions including sales and purchases, easements, tenancies and leases.
A co-founder of Kuruvilla, Yeoh & Benjamin who is a resourceful, industrious and a tactful individual in all his dealings, Benjamin strives to achieve the best results in both his personal and work life. Outside of his legal practice, Benjamin is passionate when it comes to nutrition and exercise science and firmly believes that visualising and building a superhero self could be key to better outlooks in life.
