SOH LIP SHAN

Lip Shan read law at University of Malaya and served her pupillage at Messrs Christopher & Lee Ong. Since her call to the Malaysian Bar, she was retained in the Dispute Resolution practice group. Lip Shan subsequently joined Kuruvilla, Yeoh & Benjamin as a legal associate in the Dispute Resolution department.

 

Her experiences in general civil litigation include assisting in a multimillion contractual dispute involving land development plans, assisting in the enforcement of a foreign arbitral award related to a claim against a State government, assisting in defending a public university against a claim of fraud, assisting in defending a multinational corporation against industrial relations and employment disputes and assisting in an appeal of a shipping matter to the Federal Court.

 

Lip Shan detests staying stagnant, which drives her to constantly push herself out of her comfort zone. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and exploring new places.
