ANDREA BOO SHYAN SZE

Andrea read law at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom where she obtained a First-Class (Hons) Bachelor’s Degree. Beginning her legal career as a pupil in Messrs. Sreenevasan (where she also served as a legal associate), Andrea assisted in several appellate court matters and judicial review hearings. During her tenure there, she was given the opportunity to dive into different areas of legal practice ranging from Labour and Employment Law, Intellectual Property Disputes, Medical Negligence & Malpractice and Administrative & Constitutional Law. Subsequently, Andrea joined Kuruvilla, Yeoh & Benjamin as a legal associate in the Dispute Resolution Department.

Andrea’s passion for writing and musical composition brought her to author a musical. Her love for both writing and legal practice converges as she enjoys dedicating her time to disseminating the latest in legal developments into articles / write-ups. Her commitment to demystifying the law and informing the general public on their rights seamlessly allows her to bridge the gap between the two worlds she loves most.
